Spring Family Photos at Barton Trail | What to Expect
Spring is finally here in Southern Ontario, and I was excited to kick off the season at Barton Trail with one of my favourite families. I was afraid we would get rained out, but instead, the gloomy weather made for the most perfect overcast lighting! If you’re nervous about “bad weather” on your photoshoot day, here is your sign that cloudy days are the best days.
Are you wondering what to expect for your family photo session? Here’s how it typically goes.
We will meet up at the agreed upon location, and I’ll introduce myself to each member of the family, especially the kids.
We’ll start with a few relaxed, movement-based shots so you can settle in.
We’ll go through a few more structured poses (the ones grandma will want to hang on her wall)
If the kids need breaks, or they want to stop and explore a rock or flower, we will follow their lead. Some of the best photos happen in the unplanned moments.
My goal is always to create a relaxed environment and end up with photos that feel like you!
If you’re looking for natural, outdoor, spring photos, I’d love to capture your family!
