Photos on the Family Farm in Uxbridge, Ontario

Sometimes we choose a location for family photos because its pretty, but sometimes we choose a location because it means something. The Ashenhurst’s family farm is both! This is where my friend Rebecca spent her teenage years, and it was so special to photograph her little family here when they visited from the States.

I loved everything about this session. The soft overcast sky, these pale blue outfits that complement the cornfield so well, and Alex’s energy as he started off shy and then began to interact with Mom & Dad.

In case you haven’t noticed, I’m a big fan of letting kids be kids during our session! Sometimes sessions include a lot of games and running around. I loved it when Alex requested a run through the lavender fields! These ended up being some of my favourite photos.
